The website shuffle
Posted by Trippnology On Feb 28 2008 At 12:50:53 PM
Hi folks. Over the coming months, our various websites will be merging together into one main site: www.houseoflavene.com

Please update any bookmarks/ favourites you have to point to the new site.

You can still currently access our existing sites here: www.toob-s.co.uk and www.laveneknittingpatterns.com/store

The best way to stary informed about what's happening in the world of Lavene is to sign up for our newsletter. We've just got a fab new email system so the newsletter is going to be our main way of contacting you all with updates.

If you have any questions or problems with any of the sites, you can contact me through my own website: www.trippnology.com
Open House
Posted by Trippnology On Jan 24 2008 At 2:21:57 PM
So, looking ahead for 2008 although we have greatly reduced our opening times here at Buckles cottage, appointments can still be made either through our websites or we are available on the phone every Wednesday between 11:00am and 10:00pm. Due to popular demand, we will remain open on the last Sunday of every month between 11:00 am and 8:00 pm where you can view or purchase our backlog of vintage and sample stocks. Please don’t miss these great opportunities to simply enjoy the creative atmosphere and warm welcome from Anne and some of the staff. These NO obligation private views allow you the chance to dress up, have fun and purchase or hire some fantastic and beautiful garments at a greatly reduced price. Although no appointment on the Sunday is necessary, a quick call to let us know your coming could avoid disappointment as we have limited space for parking.

Christmas 2007 Tidings
Posted by Trippnology On Dec 18 2007 At 1:55:50 PM

As 2007 draws to a close, its time to reflect on a year of growth & development at the House of Lavene. Primarily in the expansion of our two websites, as Timo Schwalowsky-Monks, our flamboyant and artistic Art Director explains.

“ In order to keep costs down we are actively encouraging all our clients to purchase on-line. Because of the exclusive nature of our garments, we strongly feel that high street retail outlets do not represent us in the way we would like and they need to sell the garments at a price that makes them unobtainable to most people.

For current news and up to date information we have developed a site known as the Toob-s Community. This exciting and diverse site allows you to become a member and to post information, messages and comments regarding anything to do with The House of Lavene. We would love to hear from those of you who would like to share your thoughts with us. On the site you can also post images of yourself or friends wearing Lavene styles*. Whether you wear them singly or with existing items in your wardrobe would be of great interest to us!

Our other site is Lavene Knitting Patterns. This was set up to provide inspiration through gallery images for you to obtain information about our individual garments and to purchase directly either a genuine Lavene garment or one of our student’s pieces at a greatly reduced price. We are always keen to hear from those of you interested in becoming one of our accomplished knitwear creators and you can purchase past season’s patterns on-line. If knitting is new to you, then why not learn how to make our garments through our brand new video tutorials. These will become available towards the end of February 2008.”

Although no appointment on the Sunday is necessary, a quick call to let us know your coming could avoid disappointment as we have limited space for parking.

From all the team and associated friends here at ‘The House of Lavene’ we wish you health, happiness and success…here’s to the future!
